SSP Granuals

Single Super Phosphate Granuals

Granulated Single Super Phosphate is extensively used in mechanized farming. As compared to PSSP, it is slightly costlier due to the cost of granulation. Using granulated single super phosphate is more beneficial to the crops than the powdered form. The greatest benefit of using the granulated product is that it dissolves slowly in the water present in the soil so it is available to the crops for a longer time.

Gypsum

Gypsum Granules

Gypsum is an excellent source of sulfur for plant nutrition and improving crop yield. Meanwhile, calcium is essential for most nutrients to be absorbed by plants' roots. Without adequate calcium, uptake mechanisms would fail, and calcium helps stimulate root growth.

One of the gypsum's main advantages is its ability to reduce aluminum toxicity, which often accompanies soil acidity, particularly in subsoils. Gypsum can improve some acid soils even beyond what lime can do for them, making it possible to have deeper rooting with resulting benefits to the crops. Surface-applied gypsum leaches down to the subsoil and results in increased root growth.

Bhoomi Shakthi

CMS (Calcium, Magnesium & Sulphur)

Calcium increases percentage base saturation in clay colloid complex and increases pH in acidic soils. Calcium is important for the growth of meristems and the functioning of the root tips. Calcium is constituent of calcium pectate in the cell wall and maintains the integrity of the membranes. In seeds, calcium is present as calcium phytate. It also helps in the absorption of other plant nutrients.

This also like calcium increases percentage base saturation in clay colloid complex. Magnesium helps in the formation of chlorophyll and plays important role in photosynthesis.

Sulphur increases soil acidity. It helps in decreasing soil alkalinity. Sulfur is essential for the synthesis of certain amino acids and oils. It can be called as a master of nutrients for oil seed production. It is present in amino acids like cystine, cysteine, methionine, etc.

Organic Fertilizers

Organic Fertilizers

PROM

Phosphate Rich Organic Manure

Phosphate-rich organic manure is a type of fertilizer used as an alternative to diammonium phosphate and single super phosphate.

Phosphorus is required by all plants but is limited in soil, creating a problem in agriculture In many areas phosphorus must be added to the soil for the extensive plant growth that is desired for crop production. Phosphorus was first added as a fertilizer in the form of single super phosphate in the mid-nineteenth century, following research at Rothamsted Experimental Station in England. Single super phosphate is non-nitrogen fertilizer containing phosphate in the form of monocalcium phosphate and gypsum which is best suited for alkali soils to supplement phosphate and reduce soil alkalinity.

Compost

City Organic Compost

Compost is a mixture of ingredients used to fertilize and improve the soil. It is commonly prepared by decomposing plant and food waste and recycling organic materials. The resulting mixture is rich in plant nutrients and beneficial organisms, such as worms and fungal mycelium. Compost improves soil fertility in gardens, landscaping, horticulture, urban agriculture, and organic farming, reducing dependency on commercial chemical fertilizers.

The benefits of compost include providing nutrients to crops as fertilizer, acting as a soil conditioner, increasing the humus or humic acid contents of the soil, and introducing beneficial colonies of microbes that help to suppress pathogens in the soil.
